Wrong Way River Lodge & Cabins is an urban A-frame cabin campground on the French Broad River Greenway in West Asheville. We are redefining the hospitality industry by creating a new lodging category that merges the best elements from traditional options, including:

What you will do…

You will be part of a small team that works closely with each other to connect Wrong Way guests and customers to the transformational experiences and stories that can be found in Asheville and surrounding WNC. To promote a team environment and keep things interesting, all team members are rotated through staff responsibilities, including:

  • Handle retail sales in the River Lodge
  • Serve food and beverages in the River Lodge
  • Conduct regular cleaning and basic maintenance of the River Lodge, property, and cabins
  • Take customer phone calls, manage bookings, and check in/out guests
  • Make recommendations to guests based on their interests and comfort level
  • Educate guests on local history and the Wrong Way story
  • Anticipate and react to guest requests and needs
  • Work private group events when necessary
  • Receive deliveries and stock retail inventory



  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and your own, reliable transportation
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and climb stairs
  • May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs
